Does This Sound Like You?

✅ You’re constantly on your feet, lifting, bending, and helping others but never seem to get a break for yourself

✅ You’re worried your body won’t keep up and you're the one everyone else relies on
✅ Your back feels tight or achy more often than it should and there’s no time to deal with it
✅ You’ve tried stretching, walking, or “doing your best” but nothing really builds your strength or energy back up
✅ You feel tired all the time even though you're moving constantly
✅ You want to feel stronger, more stable, and more confident and you need something simple, safe, and doable from home

There's a Better Way

Trying to figure it all out on your own often leads to stopping and starting, getting discouraged, or doing things that just don’t work for your body or your life. The truth is, real results come from having a plan that’s built specifically for you. One that’s simple to follow, easy to do at home, and designed to fit into a life that’s already busy.

When you’re supported with a step-by-step structure, short sessions you can actually stick to, and someone guiding you through it, everything gets easier. You start building confidence again. You move better, feel stronger, and know what to do, even on your toughest days. And because it’s built around your needs, it works with injuries, not against them. This isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about finally having something that works for you, your body, your time, your life.

Super Simple 3 Step Process

Progressive Strength Made Simple

You don’t need long workouts or heavy weights to get strong. Our method uses short, efficient sessions built around movements that protect your back, strengthen your core, and support the muscles you rely on daily. It’s progressive, so your body adapts over time without feeling overwhelmed, sore, or pushed too far.

Built for Carers, Not Gym-Goers

This program is designed for your life not some influencer’s. It works around your time, your energy, and your responsibilities. The workouts are short, flexible, and can be done at home using simple, affordable equipment. Whether you’re supporting someone full-time or juggling appointments and tasks, this system adapts to you.

Support, Accountability, and Real-Life Coaching

Most people don’t need more information — they need structure, encouragement, and someone in their corner. That’s why we offer support and coaching to help you stay on track, work around injuries or setbacks, and feel confident you're doing the right thing. You’re not in this alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself

💪 Why Strength Training Fixes the Real Problems

Most carers live with a mix of constant low level pain, tightness, fatigue, and the fear of their body not holding up over time. These aren’t just surface level issues, they come from deep muscular imbalances, weakness in key areas, and too much strain without enough support.

Strength training is one of the only proven ways to truly fix these problems long term. It helps realign posture, builds joint stability, and strengthens the muscles that protect your back, knees, hips, and shoulders. The stronger you are, the less you hurt. The more stable your joints, the more energy you have. This isn’t just about “getting fit”, it’s about making your body resilient so you can keep doing what matters most: showing up for the people you care for.

🚫 Why Traditional Strength Training Doesn’t Work for Carers

The problem is, most strength programs weren’t built with carers in mind. They assume you have 6 hours+ free time per week, access to a gym, and no existing aches or injuries. They expect consistency, but give no flexibility. They throw in complicated workouts, fancy equipment, or routines that leave you sore and drained, exactly what you’re trying to avoid.

If you’ve ever tried following a “regular” program and couldn’t keep up, it’s not because you lack discipline. It’s because the plan didn’t fit your life. Carers rarely have 60 minutes a day to themselves, and your body is already under stress from everything you do.

✅ How Our Method Fixes Everything That’s Broken

This program was built specifically for carers. It works with your body, around your schedule, and in support of your real-life responsibilities.

You’ll follow short, simple strength-based sessions that can be done in less than 90 minutes a week, from home, no gym membership needed, and no need to push through pain. Every session is designed to protect your joints, build strength in the muscles you actually use, and slowly rebuild energy and confidence at a pace you can maintain.

It’s not about going “all in.” It’s about finally having a plan that’s built for your life - so you can stay strong enough to keep doing the work that matters, without burning out or breaking down..

For the last 4 years I’ve been a full time carer for my husband after he had a massive stroke. All of his physical care and the house and garden work have become my responsibility and even though I’m always on the go, I knew that I needed something more to help me be strong and less likely to injure myself. I also wanted to keep my bones strong and knew that strength training was important. I had no clue where to begin as attending a class in person wasn’t going to be possible. A lot of online information seemed to be for new mums or for things like chair yoga. One day I found The Carer’s Coach on Instagram and immediately I knew it was what I had been looking for. From my first conversation with Lewis to the regular support and encouragement both Lewis and Kirstie provide, I have felt in safe hands. Their video support for each exercise is superb and they are careful to ensure that you can contact them with any queries or concerns. Within weeks, I felt physically stronger and found my mood lightening. I felt I was finally able to do something to future proof my ability to care for my husband and at the same time to create a space for me to care for myself at the same time. If you’ve felt, like me, that you need to begin to get stronger, don’t hesitate to get in touch with The Carer’s Coach to find out how they can help you too.

I’m a parent carer and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to do everything and looking after myself is always the first thing to go. I knew I needed to start strength training to protect myself (I’m mid 40s) but also to continue to support my kids with solid grounding hugs. Training with carercoachuk have been amazing. I’m no longer afraid of lifting weights, I’m held accountable to complete my workouts while also understanding that my time is limited and my plans can need to change quickly and last minute. I’ve gone from lifting nothing to being able to lift 20kg across two dumbbells and I’m still getting stronger. The most surprising change is my mental strength and resilience has increased, I’m so much calmer when dealing with stressful situations. Lewis and Kirstie really understand the needs of carers and are always so positive and supportive. Reach out to them like I did, you will not regret it.

I care for my 10 year old daughter Beth who has Dravet Syndrome, a form of drug resistant epilepsy, along with global developmental delay. She’s non verbal and can walk, but she’s very weak, so she spends much more time in her wheelchair now.

Before joining, I was really struggling with back pain and my overall strength. Beth may be 10, but she’s tall and already wearing age 13 clothes, so lifting her, especially after seizures, had become very difficult. There’s a lot of manual handling involved in her daily care.

Since joining, I’ve felt stronger, more energetic, and the biggest surprise has been that I actually enjoy exercising, something I never thought I’d say.

If you’re a carer, I honestly can’t recommend Kirstie and Lewis enough. They create fantastic, realistic programs that fit around your life. I’m so glad I joined. I feel proud of myself for getting stronger, for Beth, but also for me.”

I'm an osteopath, so you'd think I should know what to do about my body/fitness. On lots of levels I do, but on another lot of levels, including motivation and decision-making, I don't. Lewis & Kirstie have helped me close that loop. The app and their lovely supportive messages keep me accountable, and although I'm only a few weeks in I'm noticing differences, some in unexpected ways. My balance is improving; I feel more strong and stable (but not in a 'running through fields of wheat' type way! 😂); my low back (which got me into studying Osteopathy in the first place) is a LOT less grumbly. I love that I can make time for these workouts at home (they're getting shorter timewise as I progress), and in my pyjamas if I want!

I have HSD and fibromyalgia and work full-time as a carer in an elderly care home. I was getting to the point where I was struggling to cope with work and everyday life because of my own disabilities. I knew I needed something that fit my schedule and didn’t involve going to a gym.

When I came across The Carers Coach UK online, I thought, “I’ve got nothing to lose.” After my consultation with Lewis and Kirstie, I was really impressed. As a carer, money is tight, but I realised it was time to invest in myself. If I didn’t, I wasn’t sure how much longer I could keep up with the demands of my job.

Since starting, the journey has been fantastic. With the coaches’ support, I’ve built strength in a short time, something NHS physio had struggled to achieve for years. My program adapts to my needs, especially during flare-ups, and it has made a huge difference. I actually look forward to my sessions; they’ve become part of my routine and help me unwind.

My strength and mobility have improved massively. For the first time in years, I can climb stairs without holding onto the rail. The Carers Coach UK have changed my life, not just because they know what they’re doing, but because they truly believe in me.

Before joining the carers coach, I was juggling caring for my 3 year old with working and finding very little time for myself. When I did have time for me, all I had energy for was laying on the sofa and watching TV. I had very bad back pain from all the lifting, bending and carrying I was doing and it was actually debilitating at times and would put me out of action for weeks at a time. My daughter was only going to get bigger so I knew that I had to work on my strength to protect myself from injury and be able to care for my daughter as she grows. However it was overwhelming trying to work out what I should be doing and I didn't have the mental bandwidth to work it out. I needed help.

Since joing the programme, I have suprised myself by actually making the time for exercise and have done so consistently. Having Kirstie and Lewis to keep me accountable and give me bespoke feedback has been a huge help keeping me on track. I was quite nervous about joining, but the programme starts very gently and builds you up slowly, which is brilliant. I have gained strength, learnt how to keep proper form, and become much more aware of how I move my body when I'm lifting my daughter.

It has helped me to slowly shed my old stories of not having the time or energy and adopt new ones of making the time for the things that are important. My motivation and energy has actually increased and now instead of binging TV in the evenings I'm actually excited to work on other goals and projects.

I'd recommend the carers coach program to anyone that knows they need to get stronger but feels unsure of where to start. If you feel like you just need someone to take your hand and guide you through an introduction to strength training this is for you!

I thought it would be difficult to fit training into what were already busy days juggling caring, work and general family life, but it didn't take long to get into a new routine and create new priorities. I'm delighted to now feel fitter, healthier and stronger to care for my 7 year old son, David, who is non-mobile and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. It is important for me to be in the best possible health to care for him, especially as he grows. Lewis and Kirstie have motivated and encouraged me and it's great to reflect on the progress I've already made. Carers, this is a programme you can't afford to miss out on!
